The space
St. Elmo's Gem is a historic St. Elmo home. Built in 1920, it has since been outfitted for modern day convenience with thoughtful updates while maintaining much of its historic charm. Enjoy three large bedrooms with comfy beds, a cheerful living room with smart TV, and an over-sized kitchen with plenty of space for cooking and dining. There's a laundry room, too!

Your comfort is our top priority, and we include coffee, snacks, and toiletries, with additional accommodations available upon request.
Guest access
The house may be accessed from the front (St. Elmo Ave), or the back via the alleyway/greenway. There is abundant parking in the back behind the home.
Additional notes
Please note that the parking area is shared with the small apartment at the back of the property, so you may see another car during your stay, but there is always plenty of space to park.

Neighborhood overview
St. Elmo is the coolest! And from our house, it's totally walkable! Eat at Mr. T's Pizza or grab a burrito at Mojo's. Get a beer at the Tap House or go fancy at 1885 Grille. Chillax and go down the huge slide at St. Elmo park, or go see the sites of Lookout Mountain. Did we mention you can walk . . . ?
Getting around
Walk or ride a bike throughout St. Elmo. There's no reason not to! Then drive or Uber to downtown Chattanooga in under 10 minutes. You could also walk to downtown St. Elmo and then hop on a CARTA bus.
